Hurricane Rita is Coming

Hurricane Rita is the seventeenth named storm, ninth hurricane and fifth major hurricane of the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season. The storm has already impacted Florida and Cuba, and currently threatens Texas and Louisiana, with the National Hurricane Center of the United States forecasting it as of 11 pm EDT, September 20, 2005 to become as high as a Category 5 with a landfall sometime on September 24, near Galveston and Houston in Texas.
