Time for rethinking of the ID debate

Come on everyone knows it ,no Intelligent Design was behind
evolution.When televangists and religious fundamentalists start to
back such a theory you start to wonder what exactly it is.
According to skeptic's dictionary
Intelligent design (ID) refers to the theory that intelligent causes
are responsible for the origin of the universe and of life in all its
diversity. Advocates of ID maintain that their theory is scientific
and provides empirical proof for the existence of God or
superintelligent aliens. They believe that design is empirically
detectable in nature and in living systems. They claim that
intelligent design should be taught in the science classroom because
it is an alternative to the scientific theory of natural selection.

In my personal thinking ,those people who fear science are actually
shouting ID in their full voice.Science has given us everything
including the computer I'm typing in.If ID exists ,and God exists they
exist in the minds of people ,but should never be taught in schools.
